Nothing too eventful happened.. except for the fact that I think our Senora, Carmen, went out drinking last night and was a little tipsy when we told her we were going to the beach this afternoon. She said we could pack a sandwich to take. This morning when we got up, I think she was a little hungover, HA, because she asked us what time we would be back from school to eat. We had to refresh her memory a couple of times and tell her we were going to the beach. She said we could get a sandwich but never put out anything for us to make, and proceeded to go back to bed. So Ryann and I went to school thinking we would just get something at the beach. But, it continued to rain, so we headed home instead of the beach and grabbed a sandwich and fries at a local store. On our way home around 315 we ran into the other woman living with Carmen and she told us that Carmen was waiting with our food in the kitchen. Ryann and I felt horrible, but at the same time, we had repeatedly told Carmen that we were not going to be home for lunch. We hurried back and stuffed as much of the yummy food she had made into our already full stomachs and put the rest in the fridge for a snack later. Pretty funny overall!
Other than that, I've sat in my room reading my new obsession, Water for Elephants. It's a great book and I would recommend it to anyone!
Ryann and I did a little homework tonight and now it's off to bed for us here shortly. Hopefully school will go by a little quicker tomorrow.
