Where has the time gone?

So, sorry for the delay in writing.  I just feel like at this point I want to go do as many things as possible and by the time we get home and settled in, I'm way too exhausted to write on my blog.  I have a little bit of catching up to do since the last time I wrote..here goes nothing!

THURSDAY NIGHT
Ryann and I headed out to the San Juan festival around 9 and met up with our friends at the beach.  There was a large group of the ISA students there and we sat with them.  For me, the festival was cool but I hate large crowds of mainly drunk people and loud music, which was mainly what the festival was about.  I tried to have a good time, but when I'm in situations like that I get really nervous and uptight and all I did all night was worry about where Ryann was and if I had all of my things with me.  It was a really cool celebration and I'm really glad I went, it just wasn't my thing.  It would have been a lot more fun if all of my family and friends were there and if I had felt more comfortable.  Anyways, the beach was packed and people were everywhere.  There was a concert, with a Spanish singer named Carlos.  His music was really good.  Ryann and I walked in the water at midnight because that's what you are supposed to do.  We ended up leaving around 12:30 and got home at 1.

FRIDAY
We slept in and didn't go to school, because no one does on the day after the San Juan festival.  We woke up and went out to go buy the last of our gifts for people at home with our friend Natalie.  It was a nice afternoon.  We came home and ate lunch and then took our daily siesta.  After that we went out with our two other friends Amber and Hanna.  They had slept on the beach the night before and Amber got her camera and phone stolen so we were shopping for her a new camera.  Of course, while shopping I had to get some Mango ice cream.  I'm obsessed.  We hung out for a while and then Hanna went home to eat and Ryann, Amber and I went out to eat Mexican for a last celebration while we here in Spain with her.  The restaurant didn't open until 8:30 and it was around 7:30 when we got down to where it was located so we went to the beach and sat and talked for a while.  It was a really nice night.
SATURDAY
Yesterday morning we got up and went to Nerja with our two friends Natalie and Amber.  We looked around in the shops on the way down to the beach and I was suckered into buying a pair of really cute sunglasses.  We went down to the beach and pretty much just laid there all day and slept.  Natalie and I snuck off to the rocks and got some pictures there while Ry and Amber were snoozing.  We stayed at the beach from about 11 until 4:30.  It was a really nice day for our last weekend here.  We were all looking for churros with chocolate to eat but we couldn't find a place that had any, so we stopped at a local cafeteria (diner) close to the bus stop.  The people were really friendly there and were trying to help us with our Spanish.  We needed to pay the bill and our friend Amber went to tell the lady.  She looked at her and said "Necesito pegar," which is Spanish means I need to punch.  Everyone in the place started laughing hysterically and they told her that she had just told our waiter she wanted to punch her.  Amber felt really stupid, but they were nice about it and told us to come back and practice our Spanish.  We came home, ate dinner and relaxed for the rest of the night.  We went to bed really early because of the long day at the beach.

We came home and Carmen had made us Paella with chicken nuggets, french fries and fried bread.  It was absolutely delicious and as much as I miss American food, I know I'm going to miss Spanish food too along with Carmen and our friends here.

I got up at 1:30 to talk to Nick while he was stopped in Philadelphia on his way to Ireland.  I've been really worried about his trip and it made me feel a lot more releaved that he was safe.  This morning he called me as soon as his got to Ireland to let me know he was safely landed.  It really hit me hard yesterday that we won't get to see each other for another 5 weeks and I had a really hard day, but I keep trying to think about all of the awesome things I get to do when I get home, like camping at Higgins, 4th of July celebrations and finally start showing everyone my engagement ring.  I think being home will help a lot and knowing that Nick is in Ireland having an awesome time will make me feel a lot better.  At this point, I can't wait to get home!

SUNDAY
This morning we woke up at about 930 and hung out in our room for a while.  We had breakfast  and Carmen made us Churros with chocolate to eat.  They were really good.  Kind of tasted like fried pancakes.  We came back to our room and packed up a lot of our stuff which has made me really anxious to get home.  I have all of my clothes packed except for the stuff I need for the next couple of days.  We just have to pack up the essentials now.  We are hanging out and studying here until around 3 and then going to the beach with our friend Amber.

Can't wait to get home and share my experiences and pictures with everyone in real life.

Vaya con Dios!
