So, the mexican restaurant idea was probably the best we had. The food was great, minus the not spicy, heated up salsa. Ha. But I had a chicken quesadilla and it was the bomb. Our waiter was awesome and was joking with us about getting sombreros out for us to take pictures in. Or at least I thought he was joking. The next thing I know he is pulling down sombreros, ponchos and fake guns for us to pose with and get pictures with. It was absolutely hilarious. He gave us our own professional photography shoot. We loved every minute of it and will probably try to go back again before we leave Malaga.
Today started off well, I actually wanted to go to school and got up at a decent time. I think it helps that I got up a decent time and had time to get ready and actually eat breakfast. Carmen asked us what we wanted for lunch and we all decided together that we wanted the spaghetti with some sort of alfredo sauce and croquetas. We went to school and nothing very exciting happened at school today. Just another day and it didn't help that I had a pounding headache, which I think could have been a migraine. I kept getting shooting pains in my head and it wasn't cool. After school we had a meeting with ISA about our weekend trip to Sevilla. We came home and ate some delicious food that Carmen had made. I walked out of the kitchen towards our bedroom and was holding my stomach as if to say I was so full and that the food was delicious and Carmen began to laugh and said "Bebe bebe.. hahahahahahahaha" which I thought was hilarious. She cracked up for a good 2 minutes and just kept (in Spanish) when you get home you will have to exercise a lot. HAHAHAH! She is crazy, but we love her.
After eating I took a little nap and then we got up and went to the Cathedral here. I'm so glad we went because it was absolutely beautiful. They had the biggest organs I've ever seen that were made in the 1600's and they still function today without any changes. Each organ had over 1000 pipes in them. They stained glass windows, alter pieces and entire church was amazing.
We came home and I had to do an interview for class with someone Spanish. Of course, I asked Carmen. It was really nice because I got to actually sit down and know more about her. I asked her a bunch of different questions like where and when she was born, where she has traveled, how many kids and siblings she had. It was really cool. I think she enjoyed it a lot because she kept talking and talking to Ry and me. She was leaving to go to her friends halloween shop and she was all dressed up and I couldn't resist asking her to get a picture with us. She was so happy we asked and took us out on the balcony. When she got her picture with me she snuggle up next to me and hugged me. It made me so happy and made me feel at home. It was precious!
After that Ryann and I have just been doing homework, showered and we are about to eat some dinner. That will probably be the extent of our night. We get really tired pretty easily after a 5 hour long day of class and walking all over the city!! More stories and adventures to come tomorrow.
Vaya con Dios!
